A sweet pair of shoes from the Biedermeier period of the 1830s. The antique shoes are clearly intended for a young girl or even a child. Flat leather sole. Inside lined with light cotton fabric. The shoes are made of black silk with beautiful embroidery on the front and sides. Beautiful flower rosettes made of fabric. Very well preserved. Only at the tips of the toes tiny traces of wear in the silk. Very rare to find.
