Description

Antique day dress in brown silk with white dots and curved squares, ca. 1908. Label from Paris: Mme. Bauby. The antique dress is a three-piece: Top, skirt and belt are part of it. The top has long, looped sleeves lined inside with silk. Chest insert and collar made of lace. Inside a bodice made of cotton fabric. Small velvet bow at the throat. The skirt ends in a small train. Very well preserved. A few hooks and eyes are missing, the stand-up collar is torn on the back, a few seams are open, the silk in the sleeves is a bit fragile. The decoration is not included.
