I have put over 1500+ hours into this build not counting theendless nights of research in order to use only the best components on thisrig. I was very conscientious about power collection and consumption and thisshows through in the finished project. Having an air conditioner run to keepthis van cool without a generator and run off power from the sun is a feat. Here is my youtube video about the Solar AC atop the rig:https://youtu.be/4IWrvtkmlZ8
There is one trouble spot of rust, the rest of the van is super clean and trouble free. The sliding side door bottom corner has a small trickle spot. The rest of the rig is in excellent shape with the obvious stonechips and paint scratches and chrome grill flake that comes with 270k miles.
This is a very well maintained 3.0 Mercedes Turbo diesel, maintenance meticulously done by Dennis at Linden Automotive in Golden,Colorado. They are THE BEST mechanics when it comes to sprinter vans specifically these small diesel engines, whether you end up buying this rig or another Implore you to take your business there!https://www.lindenautorepairgoldenco.com/reviews/
The techs at Linden know this rig and say itis the best running rig they have had, it has a new turbo in the last 5,000miles, (00) and has been deleted and tuned to have 50 more horsepower and MPG averaging over 17 which is phenomenal for such a heavy rig at speeds of 75-80mph. I do my own oil changes Mobil 1 synthetic every 10k miles. Still have original cat and exhaust system if you need that for your state's emission needs.
