Hamilton Gimballed Box Quartz Clock Made in France w German Movmt. NICE!

Description

You are bidding on a very nice Nautical Gimball Box Quartz Clock by Hamilton.  This clock set in a solid Oak, brass hinged octagon style box with a blank inscription plate (had initials but I turned over to the blank side).  It was made in France using a German Quartz Movement,  using an E90 battery.  I just installed a new battery and it runs perfectly.  The lid on this clock closes and locks in place using a beveled pin / socket type latch.

This beautiful clock is in great cosmetic and functional condition.  It does have some light scratches but it is solid oak it can be sanded and refinished, but this is really not necessary. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself, this Gimbal clock is in fantastic shape.
