Looking for a more durable screening mesh but don't want to sacrifice visibility or airflow? Aluminum screen mesh is a metal alternative to fiberglass screen mesh that has the same thread thickness as standard fiberglass, but is more durable because of its metallic nature.
Tip on how to screen your window/door screens:
leave a minimum of 1" extra screen mesh on each side of the screen frame when re-screening a window/door screen. For example, 36" rolls of screen are good for screens up to 34".
More durable than fiberglass screen mesh (note:
not pet resistant
).
Doesn't sacrifice visibility or airflow for durability.
100' roll can re-screen an estimated 15-30 window screens or 12 door screens.
