The nipped waist, the elegant lacework . . . how beautiful for the bride! This mid 1950s wedding dress has a U-seam under the bust and a nine-gore silhouette that fits the waist and flares grandly to the hem. The sleeves are fitted with bows accenting the flared bells at the elbows, layered in two panels with silk organza trimmed in lace appliques underneath. The bodice lace has pearls & sequins daintily scattered; the skirt lace is unadorned. Skirt trails about three feet behind the bride for a classic train, a bit longer than chapel-length. Exquisite condition, never worn, the smallest part of the waist has a penpoint hole at seam at front left, and two pinpoint holes at back waist, these are hard to notice but could get larger with stress, overall not a detraction
