VINTAGE 1940’S WEDDING GOWN, HEADPIECE AND VEIL

Description

This is a 1944 Wedding Gown, Cathedral Veil, and Headpiece.  The Cathedral Veil has lace trim at the bottom.  The gown is an off white (cream) satin with appliqué around the v-neck and buttons in the back.  The Headpiece is embellished with silver beading.  As you can see from the pictures the veil is very long and accents the dress.  I did not take it out of the original storage box for the pictures or for the accurate measurements.  I feel that considering it’s age that it is in very good shape.  Very slight dirt marks at the bottom of the gown and I also observed some of the buttons are discolored.  Since I am not a seamstress, I measured the bust at approximately 33-36 inches and the waist at 26-28 inches.  These measurements were taken inside the box.  The length of the gown would be for a person 5’1” - 5’2” high.  If you require more accurate measurements, please contact me.  This will be shipped in its original storage box, so as not to disturb anything.  Please view photos.
