Vintage 1950's Wedding Dress.
Ivory with a Lace Illusion Attached Overlay Top and Sleeves.
Tea Length. Beautiful Lace.
Fitted at the waist with a flare out skirt.
The lace sleeves have covered buttons and flow into a pretty V shape that would cover the top of the hand.
The satin under dress is strapless..fabric is a heavier satin..I believe there may also be some acetate in it. The inside of the dress has a heavier lining..has a paper feel..like sizing. See photo.
Lots of covered buttons down the back of the dress with elastic loops. There is a Snap at the top neck back in the lace overlay.
Back Waist Bow comes off and has 3 snaps. There is a back zipper.
I found no issues in the lace other than a ***rust mark at the shoulder..see photo. Zipper works fine.
It is small in size. Judging as a 0-2.
No tags..could have been made custom..
Measures 41" long from shoulder to bottom.
12" across waist, waist to bottom is 26" long. Hips are full, arm pit to arm pit on the strapless dress is 14" across with darted bust room, the lace illusion overlay arm pit to pit is 16" across...sleeves are 24" long to the point, shoulder to shoulder is 14".
Estate Find...Was in Storage for many years...As found...
**There are rust spots in the skirt and bow...and one in the lace also noted above...see photos..
I found only 1 missing button.. at the back bottom near the waistband... Noted edge fabric wear on some of the sleeve buttons.
