This is a sweet, elegant vintage wedding gown and veil. I believe it is from the 1960s due to the empire waist style but could be early 1970s because of the straight sleeve style. It has no tags and I believe it was hand made by a gift seamstress. The mail body of the gown is a soft white satiny type fabric; it is lined in a taffeta type fabric. The sleeves are long and are done in a lacy netting fabric. The bodice is also overlaid with fine netting with lacy designs. The lace on the dress is ivory in color. The measurements are as follows: shoulder seam to shoulder seam 14 and 3/4"; bust 34"; natural waist 31"; shoulder to hem front of dress 54"; shoulder to end of train in back 73"; underarm sleeve length is 16 and 1/2". The veil is a simple cap style with a comb to hold it in place with similar lace to the gown - the netting is just plain white netting with no design. Please refer to these measurements for proper fit. The back has a long zipper. The condition of this lovely gown is very good - I found one faint stain on the side near the hem.
