This beautiful and classic wedding dress has a dropped waistline, which shows off an hourglass shape. The skirt is super full and gathered, made from ivory colored duchesse satin, very smooth, glossy and holds its shape well. Beautiful, heavy white lace covers the lined bodice and collar. The unlined sleeves are also lace. An additional row of lace decorates the sleeve hems and traces around the collar edges. The back dips to the mid-back and closes with a nylon zipper. A full and gathered layer of tulle netting underlines the skirt for added fullness. The shoulders are padded. It is clean and will only need a pressing and it is ready to go. No flaws found. Has been dry cleaned.
Included with the sale is a pristine white Pemberly brand veil, edged in lace, slightly longer than floor length in back, and elbow length at the front. In perfect condition.
Also included is the half-slip under the dress skirt, which is very full and is constructed with two stiff nylon layers and a tulle layer in between. It has an elastic waistband, which is a little stretched out, but is still useable.
The dress is tagged as a vintage size 9, but this would only work on about a size 6, as modeled by the size 6 dress form shown, a great fit. Check the model's measurements and the dress measurements listed below against your own.
